My Dear and Sweet Friend, Maryellen,

It is a joy to read your message here. I look forward to hearing from you and sharing with your grandaughter the book full of real-life talk stories and reflections. (This book contains my poems also.) I have no doubt she will like it, especially that she lived in Maui for many years. Once part of the ohana (family), always a member of the ohana. She knows what that means.:-)

Much aloha and mahalo to you, Maryellen! My hugs and kisses...

With God's blessings,
Easter:-)

I appreciate this wonderful review of Easter's book, and as I read it, I realized it would be a perfect gift for my Grandaughter. She has recently moved to California from Mauii where she has spent many years. (Her mother was a native who came to the States in her teens)

Sarah is a very secular 'Catholic', and my hope is that the stories in the book and Easter's comments following each one will touch Sarah's heart and bring her into a close relationship to Christ and His Church.

Thanks for the excellent review. I'll have to ask for Sarah's CA address and then order the book. Great job, Esther!
